Directions - Take Highway 1 south to Monterey, then take the Fremont Street exit in Monterey (a 2-lane exit). At the second light, turn right onto Camino el Estero, then the Monterey YMCA is on the left side, at the first corner, Washington Street. Parking - There is a lot of street parking right nearby, including along the lake right across the street. The parking lot behind the YMCA actually belongs to the San Carlos Cathedral, and we are not supposed to park there.
