Monterey has many choices available for lodging. We offer you this list as a starting point, with just a few suggestions about each level of lodging:

2. Casa Munras (a classic)
3. Monterey Bay Lodge (on the far side of the lake)
4. Hotel 1110 (far side of lake, with a rooftop bar and a view)
5. Stevenson Hotel (comfortable)
6. Best Western Monterey Inn (dependable)
7. Days Inn (same same)
8. Try a Google Maps search, for many more options. Try along Munras Avenue, North Fremont Street, or Del Monte Avenue, and even better, November is the beginning of the off-season!
Hostel: Great news! The Monterey Hostel has been freshly renovated, and has nice rooms and affordable options! Please email info@montereycontradance.org if you intend to stay there, because we get a special discount, for Foggy Moon AND year-round!
Camping:
1. Group campsite available at Veterans Park! We are reserving a big group campsite at this city park in the pine forest, with dedicated bathrooms and showers available 24/7, space for lots of tents and a few self-contained small camper vans in a fairly level dedicated parking lot. It's available Friday night through Monday morning, and the cost is just $12 per person per day. Email our housing coordinator to reserve your spot!
2. Monterey County Fairgrounds RV Park, a county RV park with full hookups available
